Ashley and Ferris founded Verandah in 1991 with a shared vision of becoming the nation’s most innovative producer of quality branded wearables. Over three decades later, they continue to lead the company, which has grown to 25 employees, building on their commitment to creativity and quality.

Both Idaho natives, Ashley and Ferris grew up in the Treasure Valley as 4th generation Idahoans. They met while attending the University of Idaho. Ferris enjoyed a vibrant rodeo career, serving as a rodeo queen at the Idaho Snake River Stampede, while Ashley’s passions include flying private planes.

Together, they have a daughter, Harley, a son-in-law, Cole, and a loyal blue heeler, Luna. In their free time, they love water skiing on Idaho's scenic lakes, enjoying the natural beauty of their home state.
